Robin Snow
The snow has continued to periodially blanket the landscape in Garrett County Maryland. It seems it is the custom to name the snow in the Spring. We have the "robin snow", service snow" and sometimes the "forsythia snow". There seem to be more than the usual number of robins this season. When we have snow on the ground the poor things hop about, scratching and searching for food. As I walk around our field in the morning I have been fascinated watching them flitter about, trying to survive. So I have started a series of Robin Snow paintings.
