watercolor monotypes

In Garrett County, spring is a fluctuating season.   In this past week we have gone from snow flurries to temperatures in the high 70's (accompanied by a tornado warning) to rain/fog and 40 degrees.   I have been trying to figure out how to do watercolor monotypes.   Jean Barnes Downs invited me to come to her studio on one of those 40 degree foggy, wet days for a "play date".  What a fun day we had talking art talk, painting, lunch with her husband Ray and printing.   I learned much from her and enjoyed the sharing of our art.
