Whenever we are in Seattle, a "must do" is the Pike Street Public Market.    It is a festival of colors, smells, foods, flowers, fish, art, people. . . .life.     I love it and have since I was a kid.    I take photos like crazy when there, always thinking I will use them for paintings.   I usually don't because the subject matter is overwhelming.    I recently dug out a photo I particularly like and actually did a painting. I love these two women browsing along the vegetables.

This coming weekend is Art in the Park at Deep Creek Lake State Park.   It is a fun event with many artists displaying and selling their work.    If you are in the area, be sure to come by and say "Hi ".
